What did you file? The gas block or the handguard?
35 in/lbs is not much. 2 fingers on my 1/4" drive torque wrench is all that's required. Sad to say but a series of goofs ruined your hand guard.
I installed that same hand guard on my latest upper build. I had no issues and its very secure
And yet us CT residents can not purchase any of Colt's rifles. After Newtown they banned all "assault weapons"
There is also a major slum/ghetto that is right next to Colt park. A real crap hole
Wouldn't putting moly or and other goo in a barrel count as a bore obstruction?
I always run my barrels dry, meaning I push a dry patch through the bore before shooting

My first autoloader was a P90. It was reliable and extremely accurate. I kept a 7-shot, 35yd target for years that had all 7 shots touching!
