I don't own any Glock shares so it's just a soulless tool to me. Drawing and pointing at the light switch with eyes closed had the sights aligned and aiming at the top right corner of the switch from about 15 feet away.
Don't really care one way or the other personally, just glad that it works...
I grew up on the GA/SC border. I'm a GA resident, my mom lives here and my dad lives in SC. Trust me, there are no easy ways around it.
As has already been covered:
SC law requires other state CCWs to have similar license requirements (such as a course) to be valid in state. GA has no course...
I have.
I bought a really crappy 40 round AK magazine. It feeds the rounds low into the flat face in front of the chamber. One of the bullets got set back quite a bit into the case after trying to force the mag to work. I also know that compressing the space inside the case can cause dangerous...
This is a rookie question. Can you guys give me a list of powders that work okay in 9mm, .40s&w, and 12 gauge?
If it also worked with other pistol calibers, that would be great too...
I'm in an apartment and I'd happily give up perfect performance in some calibers/gauges in order to not...
You mean how many handloads are made in the United States of America in an entire YEAR? By everyone in the country combined?
Jeez... there's no way to know for sure. But I bet it's gotta be a least two or three dozen. Maybe more.
Edit: That's supposed to be funny. When I re-read it, I sounded...
I have an interview with them in the next couple of days. I think I'm going to have everything filled out and in order except for the signature portion for agreeing to the rules. When I'm asked to sign it, I'll explain why I can't.
If anyone has any better ideas or a good way of saying what I...
Even in the deep south, there are pockets of the population who do not agree with your right to keep and bear arms. Mostly they are fresh from New York, New Jersey, or California. The pockets of these ignorant people are all in the bigger cities. In my state, that's Atlanta.
If these people...
I think I'm going to look into other organizations. This one is a good one, unfortunately. They come highly recommended by several friends of mine who volunteer with them and have had excellent experiences. I also know that in my particular city, they do not have enough men volunteers, so many...
No. JustinJ is right. Lying is immoral and I have to sign a statement saying that I agree to abide by these rules. I do not agree. I am not about to get beaten, shot or stabbed while going to this building or while picking up my mentee.
What if my mentee noticed I was carrying?
"Shhhhh, don't...
I'm probably just going to conceal well and keep mum about it...
The whole thing just grates on me though. They give both mentee and mentor a list of things that are unacceptable. If either party violates any of the rules, you automatically get booted from the program. These kids are being...
I think it's mainly because some of the antis are so crazy about it. I heard of one woman who was completely convinced that you had to have a license in Georgia to even buy any kind of gun (not true, even for pistols), and threatened to call the police and have this guy's kids taken from him...
I've gone ahead and volunteered for an organization that pairs you with underprivileged kids to mentor. As I'm filling out paperwork, it's mostly the usual stuff... agreeing to a background check, listing references, and saying what is unacceptable as a mentor.
Here's where I'm hung up...
