    Savage axis II

I own 2 of the standard Axis models, a 30-06 and a 270. I have taken a deer with the 270 three seasons in a row now, it is almost a laser beam one of my favorite firearms. The only thing I wish it had was the accutrigger that the Axis 2 comes with.

    Pressure questions

Ok guys I loaded up 10 rounds at 45 grains of blc2 and 10 rounds at 45.5 grains, got about half of them that the primers looked fine after firing and half were a little flattened, so I think they are safe and the problem is that I oversized them and as you guys explained the primer has some room...

    Pressure questions

You guys are awesome, I knew you’d have all the info I was looking for. You guys have given a couple of different ways to approach this and led me to some new toys I need to add to my bench! I will give these a few more goes and see what happens this weekend. I’ll let you guys know what happens...

    Pressure questions

Thanks for the quick replies guys, I am shooting these in a savage axis, fde SR ii, the academy sports special. I started at 46 grain charge after looking at all 3 of my manuals. I think I’ll back up .5 grains and run the free chambered rounds and reset my die so the bolt has that little bit of...

    Pressure questions

I’m pretty new to reloading, so don’t be too hard on me. I’m loading 308 win, put together 10 rounds with 150 Hornady interlocks, 46 grains of blc-2 and Remington large rifle primer. They chamber in my rifle but the bolt closed just a bit tighter than a factory round so I adjusted my full length...

    Thoughts on RIA 1911's

I've had mine almost three years now, and I love it, have somewhere in the 4000 round neighborhood put through it, I'd have to go look at my notes to know for sure what the count is, but it's a bunch! Mine is a full size tactical and it is all stock, great gun that has had no malfunctions and...

    New reloader with questions

I've loaded shotshells for awhile now, and have a couple manuals for shotshells, and am currently on the hunt for a metallic cartridge manual. I have not loaded any metallic rounds, still in the process of collecting equipment, and had a question about cases. Does it matter what brand of cases...

It's kind of dark, but its my little setup. Haven't collected up everything I need to load metallic cartridges yet, but I'm working on it.

    Kentucky holding its ground

I hope that enough of us ban together in every state with this type of legislation to inform the federal government of the way we feel, and let them know that we will not give up our God given rights!

    642 Club Part Three

i'm very pleased with this little revolver, to be so incredibly light weight yet not free like a toy. the learning curve is quiet different from any other firearm i have owned, but i think with a little (ok alot) of practice i will be as good with it as i am with any of my other handguns...

    Range report of new SR9c

I also have a sr9c that I plan to carry after I take my course to get a permit. I have had the gun for awhile now and have spent a lot of time with it and really like it a lot. It digests everything I put in it and it's easy to clean. I think you will enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
