I broke my R&S hand spring last year and couldn’t found replacement. I resorted to use Bobby pin from a $5 set at Walgreens. There is one YouTube video instruction ( not specific to R&G , I think it was for Rem58 ). I doubt it at first but after 2 years it still hold up well. I have not replace...
Thanks everyone for great advice. I went ahead and ordered steel harden nipples from T.O.W and keep original as spare. I tried to order another hammer spring from Dixie Guns work but they don’t list that part anymore. I went to the range this morning and fired 44 rounds . The CCI caps still...
My Rogers and Spencer misfire on every brand of #10&11 caps but it will goes boom with second strike . I did replaced a main spring with a thin one because the original is very thick making cocking the hammer very difficult. Would this be the case of light hammer strike? How can I remedy this...
Yes, when I swap the cylinders between this two , the problem solve. I want to keep original cylinder with the gun because it has this fancy engraving on .
I went back and check the powder flask sprout closely and the one that I used often in the pass 10 years is actually 25 grains , I only...
I need some advice on my Pietta Navy 51. It is 15 years old and I just notice that the cylinder is very difficult to remove or put it back on. I have to twist and pull the cylinder hard to get it off the arbor and do the same thing to get it back on . It gets very difficult where the thread...
What is broken on your P89 , Check E bay they have lot of parts for P 85 and P 89 list all the time. But if you want to trade in new gun I would go for GP 100,mine is solid approaching 20 years old now.
Thank you very much for helpful information. The price on Gun Broker are pretty much in $300 to $350 range . I am not worry too much about the resale value but spare parts considering this is old discontinued Walker and all . I guess I just going to take her out and make lot of noise and smoke .
screws don't stand out of the frame .I saw a few pictures of Replica Arms Inc. Walker and Dragoon with screws stand pround of back strap but they usually have Replica arms marking on the left side flat of the barrel. May be the original owner scrubbed /defab the importer marking off this revolver ?
Thank for the info. I manage to compare the Uberti cylinder , this Walker cylinder will fit Uberti frame but not vice versa. I saw a few pictures of ASM and they don't look like this so I assume this one must be very early version .How much this one worth consider it is very early ?
[/URL][/IMG The markings under the barrel are the same as the one on the right side of the frame except there is no XXVIII marking under the barrel. I am wonder about the nipples size and cylinder ,are they the same as Uberti?

I need help identify the maker of this Walker. The cylinder notches is round not oval and the engraving is different than Uberti, it appeal to be more clean. The barrel wedge can be remove by hand unlike my Uberti made Dragoon that I had to use mallet to remove the wedge.
