Glock Carriers - Check this out

Subject: FW: Glock Again FYI Be careful of the leather you choose! “What the hell was that?!?” she said. It took me a half a second to realize that my gun had just gone off…on my hip…in its holster. My wife and I had just finished breakfast at our favorite café and got into the car...

    Old Shooter Seeks Reload Advice

Gentlemen: Thank you for your immediate and factual replies. I had been "shopping" on several of the manufacturer's websites, resulting in more confusion than clarity. Your assistance is much appreciated. :D

    Old Shooter Seeks Reload Advice

I am recently retired, with considerable shooting experience. I carried for years as a security agent, and carry now as a civilian with a CCW. I only ever reloaded 12 ga. as a semi-competitive skeet shooter, back in the 1960's and 1970's. In the past I bought quality "carry" ammo, and found...

    1911 Aniversary Year Celebration

OK, this is the BIG 100 for the 1911, and Mr. Browning. More versions of the 1911 are appearing at your friendly neighborhood gun store every day, particularly the "new" old 1911A models. Now let's consider pricing. For those of us who may not have a 1911 in their collection at the...

    Sig 229 E2?

The P229 has a reduced circumference one piece size grip, improved grip texture, and a reduced reach trigger, Enhanced Ergonomics, which I assume is for comfort of a wider variety of hands, http://www.sigsauer.com/products/ShowCatalogProductDetails.aspx?categoryid=8&productid=286

Browning High Power - As good as it looks?

Mine is a T series from 1966. It was the first gun I purchased as an "adult person". In its 45-year lifetime with me, it has never hung up a round or failed to cycle. Its the only semi-auto I own (of 6) which has never hung up a round. :)

    Sig P238 vs. S&W Bodyguard 380

Paladin38-40: Did she find any problem with hollow points? Or did she just never try any?

    S&W 686 or 686+

Carried my S&W 586 for eleven years before Co. ok'ed semi-autos. 6X speed loaders worked just fine. :D BTW, if you're considering the 7-shot, I'm sure I saw somebodys .357 mag. in an 8-shot in a recent magazine. Anyone else remember seeing an 8? :scrutiny: And if it really floats your...

Help Me Choose My 1st .40 Pistol

Sig P229 Rates #1 With Me A while back, a good friend watched me struggling with several semi-autos at the range in an effort to be continuously accurate. He offered me his Sig P229 in .40 S&W to try and I was amazed firing the first few mags. I have never fired any other semi auto that was...
