    Guns and lease agreements

In Minnesota it's illegal for a landlord to forbid the legal ownership of guns on rented property.

    Timney Triggers

Replaced an X-Mark Pro with a Timney, no fitting was required it took about 10 minutes and it shoots great.

I'm ashamed to stoop so low as to ask this question.

The rifle you are asking about was/is this one here by DPMS http://dpmsinc.com/A2-CLASSIC_ep_104-1.html I was considering it as well before the SHTF, but I ended up buying a carbine locally for normal retail pricing, 12 hours before the local gun shops were completely sold out. My...

How to Defend High Capacity Magazines Without Looking Like An Insensitive Moron.

I wouldn't concede that government knows anything, and there is so much arbitrary gun law through out the country that is perfectly constitutional according to SCOTUS.

Analysis of NRA on Meet the Press?

I'm completely unimpressed with the NRA period. I'm a member, and the media had an absolute field day with Wayne's suggestion of armed-guards in all the schools...although this would be more effective than banning flash hiders and pistol grips on rifles, it's a PR disaster, and entirely...

How to Defend High Capacity Magazines Without Looking Like An Insensitive Moron.

This is very high-handed...Let me remind you that the AWB stood intact for 10 years without any successful legal challenges, and the words "well-regulated" are in the 2nd amendment. Realize that public opinion is why the AWB lapsed without a whimper in 2004, its best to win public opinion to...

    Steyr Scout rifle?

What else would they be? They aren't baseless opinions, he justifies why he doesn't like what he doesn't like.

    opinions, 308 options, feedback?

This is a misconception. Sniper rifles absolutely do not have lightweight target type triggers, for example, Accuracy International sells their rifles with a two-stage trigger that breaks at 3 to 5 lbs (adjustable).

How do you like to reload? Marathon sessions or fit it in whenever?

Well for hand gun ammo, I don't store large quantities, so I load 2 or 300 rounds of a caliber and I'm done, usually takes an hour or so. For rifle ammo I load in phases, case prep all the cases, prime in front of the TV with the hand primer. Then I always do the critical stuff when I'm fresh...

Google's "Free & Open Internet" Campaign

There is a huge difference between an ISP routing traffic for financial gain and an end user service deciding how they show search results and what they omit. You can use your internet connection to connect to an infinite variety of services, but not if your ISP is directing your traffic for...

Google's "Free & Open Internet" Campaign

Their shopping service, and even their search engine doesn't have anything to do with the free and open internet that they're advocating for. Boycott google all you want for their firearms stance but it's really foolish to ignore what the UN is doing behind closed doors, because of it.

    remington 700 magazine

5 total is how it's designed to work, 4 in the box and one in the chamber, so if you're cramming 5 rounds down past the feed lips of the internal mag, you might jam things up a bit. If it fits and cycles fine don't worry about having the extra round in there though.

    Question.

I'm sure others see it differently, but at that price point it's hard to justify paying the $20 ffl transfer fee. I bought my Mosin at a big box store locally for $99, could have ordered the same rifle online for $119 and then paid to transfer it. Down that low, margins are awfully thin.

    Appalling...

umm 2.2% is pretty ideal. Anything lower than that and it means people are saving money in an extreme way, which means the economy is completely stagnant. Look up the inflation rate when the economy collapsed in 2008.

    Appalling...

It is under control, without a small amount of inflation we would be in an absolute economic tail spin. Remember when "cash was king"? Yeah, those were the very bad old days.
