I used to think that the higher the grain weight the better for a "Defense" load. I then came across a Cor-Bon 90 grain that was advertised as an excellent weight for a defensive load. Now I am a bit confused... what should I be looking for (grain weight wise) when it comes to home defense...
Oh really? Although I thought about that, I then decided I can make very reliable cartridges for CCW purposes by checking, triple checking, weighing etc... but I still see your point.

I know that my handgun has to be spec'ed to handle +P and/or +P+ ... if it does, will I be able to reload those cartridges (in 9mm caliber)? Or are these "specialty" items that are purchase only?

I know there are a bunch of handgun magazines out there, but I have no clue which one(s) are of good quality. My interest in subscribing to one spiked when I read a few people on this forum refer to "American Handgunner". I was hoping to get some recommendations :)

I will experiment with the shell holder (and) powder through expander die and see if this fixes the issue. I will post my results when done :)
