G2 can be had around $250 and as Pukindog12 said, reviews are good. If you can hold them both to get a feel for which fits you best...that would be helpful.

Disregard....I went ahead and ordered a Don Hume Double Nine ( paid extra for handboned - Hopefully worth it)...a little different than what I had in mind, but I have a DH paddle for a Mil-Pro that is real nice and I'm sure this will be a quality holster as well.

I'm looking to purchase a new pancake belt holster. My previous pancakes have been a Roys Original for my Colt DS (tells my age) and I have one from Tauris for a 37. What are your favorite pancakes specifically made for the 642?

My Mil-Pro PT-145 has been flawless. Great as a CCW. Pick up and handle each one and see which feels best for you. As long as you go with the 2nd or 3rd generation Mil-Pro's, you will have a great firearm...9mm, .40 or .45..

Taurus Mil-Pro PT-145......or PT-140. Compact, high capacity, available safety and it eats everything, just like my teenage son!
