Yep, slug it. I've got several CZ-52's. The only barrel that I have that is the "correct" size of .308 is an aftermarket one. My largest slugs out at .313! It really doesn't seem to matter to it though. It will still make nice groups with factory ammo. Once you know what size you need...

I like 16.5's. I do have one with the 18.5 but had to break it in with surplus to be able to run factory with it. Grab one of each. They aren't that expensive and are easy to change so you can tune for the ammo you are shooting.

If I could find small ground cob, I would. The pet store stuff is way to big for 7.62x25 cases. It gets in but it's a job to get it out.
