Just curious what you guys use when Dillon doesn't make the dies. I hate buying three die sets only to toss the expander die to the side. For 327 Fed Mag, I ended up getting the Lee 3 die set and a Lee factory crimp die. Just curious to see if there is a better way. *Edit* Should have mentioned...

Do you reload for all the calibers you own? Just the major ones? Or just a few? I currently own guns in 327 Fed mag, 380acp, 38 special, 357 mag, 9mm, 7.62x25, 44 mag, 223, 45 Colt, 45acp, 40s&w and 30-30. I have a Dillon 550b with quick change setups for everything except 7.62x25, 380acp...

The quick change kits are expensive but they make changing calibers so easy. I have four of them and could really use 2-3 more.

I know next to nothing about trapdoors except that I think I want one. One that I can shoot on a semi-regular basis. I reload, so suitable ammo is no problem. Can you buy one on gunbroker for a reasonable price? Less that $1000? What do you look for? Is this a needle in a haystack kind of thing...

I have the 4" Sp101 and love it. Both for myself shooting full house 327's and the wife and kids shooting 32S&W longs. The 32S&W longs are like shooting a cap gun.

If you want an heirloom, then Browning, Marlin or Winchester. If you want something to shoot and not have to worry about, the Henry is a fine shooter.

I find that my 3" S&W M60 is very shootable with normal 357 magnum ammo. I would not want an air weight though.

I don't like the 380. Just too painful to shoot in the size gun that they are generally made for like the Ruger lcp.

I voted for Bernie last time in the primary just to be able to say I voted against Hillary twice. In TN you can vote in either the Dem or Rep primary, but not both. Trump will win in TN, so there is no need for me to go vote for him, but this time, voting in the Dem primary feels like playing...

The default case capacity actually matched my measured case capacity and I used actual measurements of the bullets and the brass.. I also adjusted the case capacity variable up and down by several grains and while it made a difference, it did not make a 200fps difference, more like 20-40fps...

I checked everything you told me to check. Bullet length and seat depth is correct. Case capacity is right. Cylinder gap is 0.0035. Below is a screen shot

I received my copy of quickload yesterday, so I am very new to the program. I entered in everything for my 250 grain missouri bullets cowboy #1 45 colt load using 7.1 grains of Unique. Quickload estimates a velocity of 842fps out of my 5.5" barrel. My shooting chrony shows a mean of 655 for 5...

I carry the 5 shots in the revolver, that's it.
