    feeling nostalgic

Even in NYC you could walk into a sporting goods store or Army-Navy store and just walk out with long arms, no paperwork necessary. I recall dump tables of Carcanos and barrels of Martini Cadets, both no more than $11 each.

More knives from my misspent youth.

Yup, I also had a K55 in my back pocket growing up in the Bronx and Queens. Once they got a little loose, you could flick your wrist and they’d open. Good cheap knife, one of the few available lock backs at the time.

One More Sixgun! Uberti El Patron .45 Colt.

It seems they have stopped producing Trailboss all together. While it’s not really an ideal powder, the safety it brings by easily seeing a double charge is invaluable to me.

    Have to chuckle

I was watching an old western where in the beginning, they set the date in the 1860’s. Low and behold, the characters start out holding Winchester 94’s. I guess they figure the average viewer either won’t know or won’t care. Sort of like Steve McQueen in “Wanted, Dead or Alive”, he carried a...

Today, $400 is considered cheap for 'em.

You did well! The arctic birch stock on your Russian is off the charts beautiful.

The GODS smiled upon me this weekend at our tiny dinky gun show ...... A tremendous find.

Protest starting, unfair to left handed shooters! Nice gun, good luck with it!

    Muzzle Brake

I have a suppressor on my CO2 pistol that was 3D printed by Buck Rail, not silent, but takes the harsh pop off.

Little Bessie Gets Her Bayonet. At Last.

“Bayonets are not swords…” Tell that to the almost two feet of cold steel in this Civil War Zouave original.

Ruger is showing a red trigger model, Davidson’s exclusive, currently on their site.

    Curio & Relic Carry Piece

I bought two S&W’s when I got on the job in 1969, a Model 10 and a Model 36. They would both qualify as C&R, and were probably better made than their modern production counterparts. I no longer have them, but wouldn’t hesitate to carry either one if I did.

Let's see carbines in pistol cartridges.

IMI made the Timber Wolf pump in .357 and .44 magnum, but they didn’t sell well back then, 1989 or so. They might do better now with the popularity of PCC’s. No idea what they currently bring.

    Biden closes ‘gun show loophole’

That’s the way I read it, a little hyperbole on Mr. Biden’s part. It might just increase the number of FFL’s.

    Considering this S&W Model 10

If it’s primarily going to be a range toy, the adjustable sights on the M15 are a big plus. Only a difference of $100 for a nice condition M15 over a somewhat worn M10, I wouldn’t think twice.
