Any Reason why two scopes in a row would go bad

Give Sight Mark a try Give the Sight Mark Triple Duty M4 1-6x24 CDX (SM13021CDX) or one of the other variations. I use this for three gun and never had a problem yet. I also use Triple Duty 6-25x56 MDD (SM13019MDD) on my .300 WSM and love it. Have tree deer over 200 meters from a steady rest...

    OAL/COAL Headaches

Save yourself the headache and buy a OAL gauge from Hornady and measure your rifle and make the ammo for your rifle. This will put the bullet right up on the lans and grooves, measure it then back off 1 or 2 thousandths and you will see an increase in accuracy and concistancy.

    .30-06 handloading

All suggestions I have read are all great, I use Hodgdon Varget is a good all around powder if you can get your hands on it. I have used it in my .223 M1 and my 1903A1 and have had no trouble with it. It is a dirty powder but very consistant and accurate even in my .300 WSM I shoot Sub MOA at...

    Model 94 AE Winchester .307

Thanks Most of its use is for hunting, I do hand load and also like to just shoot paper as well. I fully intend on using the rifle if it is bought, I also like the fact that it is not an everyday caliber and would like to turn heads like it did mine when you say .307. As far as the factory...

    Model 94 AE Winchester .307

Hello to all the gun guys and gals, new to posting here but read all the time. I have a $$ question. What is a Model 94 AE Winchester .307 worth? I have used a bore light and looks very clean, almost out of the box clean, no rust anywhere stock in excellent condition with now issues at all. I...

    Used Ruger GP100

Just to let you know I paid 300 for .357 GP100 6" heavy barrel back in 1999 and love it. My teen daughter is a dead eye at 25 and closer and the wife likes to shoot the .38 special out of it. I wouldn't pay more than $350 if a lot of round have been shot through it.

    Good 500 yard .308 rifle

Howa from Legacy arms is a good place to start for less expensive but I would bet that you have found out that you also need a good scope and that alone is your budget. I have found that Howa for about 600 will get you a nice start with scope...
