JP Compensator VS PRI Muzzle Brake

ok, just what i figuered. The limbsaver sounds like a good idea. I will check that out. The problem with the mini series is the reverb of the barrel. There are a lot of devices out there to minimize it and most only help a little. The 2 best things you can do with the barrel is cut it down to...

JP Compensator VS PRI Muzzle Brake

So I am looking for a compensator for my mini-30. No large problems with felt recoil but as many know the mini 30 has some accuracy problems. The two largest and cheapest fixes I have seen so far both on the forums and first hand is a good bedding job and an over-sized muzzle compensator. These...

m1 carbine with bad barrel fixable?

Yes the barrel turns to the correct alignment by hand, i did find some go/no-go 30 carbine guages to borrow. The gun head spaces by hand so for the time being the copper wire idea seems to be the best bet. Should this not work a new barrel is the next step.

This being said the headspace seems to be just fine so ive decided if i wrap a peice of opper wire at the base of the barrel where the barrel meets the reiever...

Sorry yall I appreciate all the advice. I apologize for taking so long to get back on but I've been busy with fixing my 1919 and completely forgot I even posted this thread. When I get home tomorrow I will remove the rear sight and check to see who made the receiver and I'll post it. Again...

m1 carbine with bad barrel fixable?

I feel dumb for asking this as i have build several rifles but.... The Question: If my barrel turns further than it should and moves freely can I buy a new barrel and install it to fix the gun? The real question is how do I know if the threading on the barrel was over worked or the threading...
