Maybe he didn't have one on him, but then after he got away safetly from the situation he realized he needed one. Thats my guess, thats what happened to me, thats why I carry a concealed weapon.

Thinner is fine. Mineral spirits is slightly less harsh. I use thinner for most things, including cleaning freshly stained wood after a slight sand.

Just finishing my mosin. The front part of the stock covering the barrel was rotting, and the half that I painted was all knicked up, but the mosin was a fantastic shooter, so I decided to make it "my own". I love the look of stock mosins, but this one deserved a make over :)

Wow, I can't believe people are actually complaining about the recoil. It isn't bad at all, for real, im 5'6'' and 200 pounds and it doesn't hurt whatsoever. A recoil pad isn't a must, unless you really decide you need it :)
