    Decent rimfire target scope?

Look for a Old Made in Japan Tasco Target Scope. often found on rimfirecentral good ones dont last long in the classifieds. typical cost of $125 find a good seller representing a good scope, and you should be more than happy. I have used these on a silhouette range, where the day's...

Weak/flimsy scope mounts can cause a scope to fail...

A $100 scope, one has to think how many people have a finger in the profit; the Chinese factory, the shippers to USA, the Distributors, the Reseller and then the advertising. A $100 scope probably was bought for $15 from the factory.

    Barrel Free Floating

IIRC, Rugers use a pressure pad at the end of the forearm. Free floating one can make it worse.

    should scope equal rifle value?

I find Nikon buckmasters to be a good value. Esp when you find a clean used one. have had several, should have never let of the 6-18 I had... oh well. Have a Weaver GS on the way, used. looking forward to using it.

CZ bolt actions, best for the buck?

If I had any newer Rem, I would like to have a LVSF model. IIRC BRNO's have long been used in competition in europe.

CZ bolt actions, best for the buck?

I have had 3 Centerfire CZ's. All of them very very nice rifles. I have 2 CZ's Currently. A 452 and a 550. So overall 5 CZ's. I use the set trigger a lot. On the bench and when the coyote or bobcat is spotted, the trigger gets set. The set trigger alone beats all others. People say...
