I understand that Leupold ended up owning the Redfield name but they are not repairing the Redfield scopes. We've got a dealer in town that has a bunch of their scopes at a good price. I'm wondering who, if anyone, is honoring the warranty.
We will be travelling from Savannah to Beaufort, SC. One obstacle I just thought of is that we will be staying in our RV at Hunting Island STATE PARK. Will that be a problem?
I found the answers to my own questions. I looked in the THR Library and found that I can carry in my vehicle in SC as long as it is in a closed glove box or console. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated though.
I'm about to travel from GA to SC for a week. I know that SC won't honor my GA permit so carrying is out. But what about carrying in my car. And how can I carry in my car, in plain sight? in glove box?
I'm tired of spending money trying to find holsters I like. I'll buy 5 or 6 for every new gun I buy trying to find that one holster that I like, then I wonder what else out there I might like more. I haven't found an IWB holster that was real comfortable, though I've not spent $80 on one yet...
The state has changed the concealed carry laws in the state of Ga. Up till now we could not carry into a restaurant that sold alcohol for consumption on premises. Now we can carry into those restaurants as long as we do not consume. Gov. Perdue assumed that ruling will be appealed.
On another...
I like mine as well. I've had no problems in probably 400 rds. I had heard of some problems with the polymer frame Kahrs but I've not experienced any with mine. It's been a great, easily concealable little gun, almost perfect for carry.
What for??
Not knowing which brand night sights to put on my HK USP Compact, I come seeking wisdom and knowledge. Which brand should I get, Trijicon or Meprolight? Others???
Where would you recommend me looking? I see them on eBay for $75-89.
Both are great guns, equally reliable. I just have a soft spot for Sigs. I own one of each but there's just something about a Sig. I carry my USP more but just because the Sig stays in the night stand since it has night sights.
I see where Midway and Jarvis both show a .357 for my gun in the same length as the .40. I wonder if it's a drop-in or is there something else I'd have to do.
I've got an HK USP Compact in .40. I know on my Sig 229 I can change just the barrell from .357 to .40, but can I do the same thing on the HK USP? If so, any suggestions on a .357 barrell?
