    28 gauge shotguns?

Have a well-worn 870 Wingmaster 28 gauge. My first pump shotgun that my dad bought me. Started hunting with it again this year, dove and squirrel. Big smiles

    Stock up.

Growing up on the farm my father always had plenty of ammo. With two older brothers and my father in me we hunted all the time. So as I grew up, buying in bulk so to speak was what I'd learned. The last panic, I didn't even have to run out and purchase anything. In fact a lot of my friends would...

    Wolf Ammo Question

500 to 600 or there abouts, only in the chamber for the most part. But it's not like, the goo is dripping from the action. The hot chamber melts the lacquer. At 2 to 3 hundred, I've never seen this happen. I say fire away.

    Lightweight handgun package

2nd on the Lc9s, just came from the range with my ec9s and man does thing shoot well. While I was there, I handled a ruger security 9, same size as Glock 19, but with a safety and 1/2 the price.

    Wolf Ammo Question

I have shot a lot of the same type of ammo you describe. Sometimes, mind you sometimes when the volume shot at one sitting is excessive, there has been a build up of melted goo in the chamber. It is easily cleaned out with hoppes #9 at the end of shooting. Never had an extractor chip or break on...

Cheap Pistols and My Buddies Harassment

The OP and me have a lot in common, I shoot inexpensive firearms as well. High quality, low price. All but 1 were bought used. Just picked up a LNIB ec9s for $140 and it has became my new favorite, I get more mileage out of those "inexpensive" guns.

Is there a manufacturer making a Home Defense 410 Gauge Shotgun

Let's talk .380 Auto again generally, and the Shield EZ specifically

380 would be fine by me, but 9mm is cheaper to practice with and I don't reload.

Guns You Love But Didn't Work Out

Ruger sp 101. I've probably had at least 6 of these, snub, 3 inch, DAO, just about any flavor, all in 357. I've taken them apart, buffed, stoned and shimmed them, tried different spring combos. Different grips. They are IMO one of the best looking guns Ruger makes. But I cannot for the life of...

    .357 Ruger GP-100 6 inch barrel 6 shots vs. 357 Ruger GP-100 4 inch barrel 7 shots 6

I have a GP 7 shot that doesn't have any ammo problems either. But recently found a sweet deal on a stainless 6 inch Security Six. I prefer it to almost any revolver, it is smooth and accurate.

    My 1st lemon

Update on the lemon. Received it back today, the worksheet stated, replaced crane and pawl. Adjusted ejector fit, extraction and barrel throat, smoothed action and polished trigger guard. Gun runs like it should. To Ruger's credit, took 13 days total, they fixed every issue. Gun is smooth and slick.

    My 1st lemon

No, I didn't. Was in a hurry and yes I've already kicked myself for that.

    My 1st lemon

I've bought and shot many guns over the past 30 years. I rarely buy a new one. When Ruger came out with the GP 7 shot, I decided I'd buy it brand new. Ordered it, picked up at the dealer and ogled it all the way home. First pull of trigger and I knew there was a problem in Rugerville. The...
