    Well leaving tomorrow, gonna hunt up by elk mountain, iron gate, and hamilton mesa. I should be in that area for a couple weeks. I have a bull tag, deer tag, and bear tag. Pretty excited!

    Hearing protection while hunting

    I have low profile electronic muffs for the range. Never had any hearing or eye protection while hunting. I don't like how the muffs fit, they're the slim ones and I have problems with them moving when I put my cheek on the stock. That bothers the hell out of me so I usually just put plugs in...

    Hunt starts October 19th. Yeah, didn't think about that. I guess it will depend on the weather. I figured finding water will be key as well. I've found a few water holes that seem like they would be good spots. Just need to go out and see.
