Well, I clean my guns at least once a week; but I don't clean my teeth or shower once a week. Guns tend to be more durable (not to mention don't smell as bad) to neglect than the human body. :p

Know how you feel, but this usually happens only when I buy cheap guns(Armscor, Taurus, etc). The Ruger 10/22 still manages to keep my interest. Also why I've been holding out on buying an AR-15 at current prices. Save up until you can get something you REALLY want, and you will never experience...

Well, I didn't plan on adding aftermarket parts on it. Yeah, I planned on training myself up to being able to reload it fast. Thanks, I just didn't want to waste my money on a possibly crap gun.

I came across a Remington 870 Tactical for 379.99 while looking at a AR lower yesterday at one of my local gun shops. That shotgun caught my eye, since I'm trying to train and get ready for an upcoming 3 gun match. Would this do for a beginner? I can handle 12 gauge loads just fine, but I'm...

Went there yesterday and it was gone. Found an complete Stag Arms AR-15 Lower, though. Doubt it'll be there when I go today. Mostly using this for 3-Gun competitions and for "trouble".

There's a Bushmaster AR-15 at my local FFL for 1499.99. I'm thinking it is kind of a rip-off(but with this craziness, I think I should just hop on it). Does Bushmaster have a good reputation? Or should I just wait for a Stag Arms AR to come around?
