Right now you can get surplus romanian mags for $12 a piece and tapcos for $6. The bayonet doesn't add much. Don't know about the rail. Around these parts you can get 1000 rounds of Wolf for $220, that puts 200 rounds at $44. 600 for the rifle. I could sell each of those Glocks for 500 a piece...
Called Rossi back a second time. Looks like my rifle was brought in before they started doing their own importation. They have no parts and no information. They referred me to M&M Gunsmithing. I sent an email off to them inquiring about parts.
Well I just got off the phone with Rossi, give the guy the only visible number on the gun, he said it came up as a revolver so he couldn't order me any parts. Told me to call back later with the rifle in front of me.
I am betting the mag catch is too long. It happened to me on a brand new Saiga 12 that FIME Group converted. I took it back to the shop I bought it at, they took it in the back and filed it down and brought it back out in about a minute.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find this screw? Numrichs is out of pretty much every part for the rifle. Ebay and Gunbroker don't seem to have it. I still have to give Rossi a call but I don't have high hopes of them having it since they haven't produced the rifle in a while. Anyone...
It's definitely an interesting looking 10/22. That stock costs way to much for me to ever consider. I could see maybe dropping that much on a stock if I was putting together a 10/22 for competition, but not just so I can have a bullpup.
The C&R stuff is just drying up and people are starting to realize it. Once a certain rifle stops being imported for the most part, there is a fixed number of them in the country and only so many of those will be available for sale at any time.
