I just bought a good used M&P 9C and the thumb safety is too easy to engage or disengage. I want the safety and don't want to remove it. I've heard that they can be tightened but haven't seen how. Any good recommendations out there?

With further checking, very faintly it reads: MOD 10-5 I can barely make out the 5 and the 10 is almost not there. My friend didn't polish this part.
