    The 325 WSM Kimber Montana I have will shoot 1/2 " groups with 160 gr. TTX Barnes bullets. It fits me well and has taken a big 7x7 elk and a nice fallow deer.

    9.3x62mm Mauser - "Put a spell on you..."

    I have a Sako Black Bear in 9.3x62. It shoots sub moa with Norma 232 grain Oryx ammo. 250 gr. Accubonds over 54 grs. of 4895 at 2,500 FPS are also very accurate. It works great for Elk. A friend in Alaska says it has never failed to take down Brown bears and Moose.

    H&R Trapper model

    Thank you for the picture Rat Shooter. Yes that is the gun I have. Using a small dowel to remove spent cases is faster than taking the cylinder out to reload.

    Thanks to everyone who replied. Catpop I would gladly post pictures if I could. Trapper Models were made from 1924 to 1941-42. Finish is rated at 98%. I got it just because it is different. Will puy a little orange paint on the front sight and flat white in the rear sight notch. 72 year old eyes...

    Riomouse911 I bought a case of Herters 3" 410 # 6 a few days ago from Cabela's. $8.84 a box sure beats Remingtons prices.They pattern well in my little BPS.

    Double-action .44 Mag. Recommendation?

    My 629-1 has a light, smooth trigger in DA/SA. It is one of my favorites. 3" barrel. I got it when they first came out. The other favorite is a 6 1/2" 629-4, RockyMountainHunter. I don't remember how many was made in the series,mine is 004.
