I have all three. I pick the BHP because it is a classic. CZ next because it is such a good gun and a great value. 92 third because, in my opinion, it is just not as special as the other two - but it does shoot great!
XDm .40 is a great gun! Have had one for a few months and have about 1000 rounds through it without a hitch. Great trigger and shoots softly and accurately right out of the case.
I am considering getting a 9mm primarily for target practice. I would appreciate any thoughts and recommendations fron the experienced users out there regarding good accurate 1911 or other semi-auto 9 mm pistols with a softer kick than my .40 or .45.
