That is why I like the countersink. Chuck it up in a drill and you can do a lot of cases quickly.
a single flute countersink makes a good primer crimp remover and is generally available for a good bit less than the purpose built crimp removers. I bought my last batch here:

Go by your local hospital lab and ask them for the test-tube trays from the vacutainers they use to draw blood. They hold 100 tubes each and come in 2 sizes that will accommodate most cases. They are usually more than willing to give you all you'll take.

I've seen 5744 and some of the stick powders do that. I cleaned a barrel out into a small container when shooting 5744 and attempted to light the "unburnt" stuff to no avail. I suspect it is a matter of incomplete burn rather than truly unburnt.
Having had some time to use the new scale, I can happily report that it does indeed work better than the previous one. Now if you could just turn off the powersave feature.
It was an Oracle Database to start with because I wrote it for my personal use. I still keep all the data in oracle here and just tie to it. Kinda tough to redistribute in that format though.
