For me, properly dressed means always carrying a knife. On the rare occasions that I didn't I felt very uncomfortable, akin to walking around naked in public.

I love my Blue Streak, bought in the sixties at a local store for $25. It's an amazingly accurate rifle. Every Autumn I use it to cut apple stems of fruit too high to reach with a long pole. Definitely a keeper. A couple of years ago it started to leak air pressure but a rebuild kit easily...

Nobody can predict with any certainty so for the long run I'd advise against guns as an investment and instead recommend a well diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds in a no load deferred tax vehicle.
