Cabelas sale

I'd love me a Walker, but I'm still saving for a conversion cylinder for my NMA.

Cabella's denied me a gun sale because the address on my license is a UPS store. Sorry I travel for a living but I will not be endorsing Cabella's anytime soon. A UPS store is not a PO for it's address to then be a PO box. I went to Sheels and bought the same gun with no problem.

They did the right thing denying the sale. ATF has gotten very particular about addresses being the actual physical address where you live.

I had to go back and make a correction to a 4473 at an Academy store after the ATF dinged them for me using the incorrect abbreviation for Route. I put RRT for Rural Route when it was actually supposed to be Rte.

ATF made them send me a letter asking me to come back in at my convenience and correct the abbreviation. I did and I could tell they were very happy to have the correct address on file.

It's nice to know that the government doesn't have an Illegal and Unconstitutional national gun registration apparatus, isn't it?

I don't buy from Cabelas even though their prices are hard to beat. I'll spend the extra money and buy from Taylor's. Always had good luck with them. A buddy of mine just bought a Remington from Taylor's and it is unbelievably good. Dead on with it's conversion cylinder and 250 grain LC's. Clobbered my 1860 Army at 25 yards.

I went into the Scarborough, ME Cabelas store last weekend, and i didn't see any real deals to speak of. They used to sell good quality merchandise at a discount compared to other stores; but by comparison, the same type of stuff at LL Bean in Freeport is better made and in the same price ranges.

Cabelas must've bought a ton those Brasseres! This is about the 5th Big Sale!
Don't get me wrong I actually like their smooth actions and who cares when you're shooting .44 light loads, they still have a whollop!
