I'm close to having my CCW. I have lots of defensive firearms training which I've done with instructor style belts with Bladetexh own holsters at 4 o'clock. This has worked well.
In anticipation for CCW I ordered a Milt Sparks VM2 IWB holster and a 1.5" Milt Sparks belt. I also good duty belt suspenders to keep my pants up. It hurt at 4 o'clock (which surprised me as OWB was so comfortable there). Also it seemed to hang pretty bad away from body.
I moved the set up to 5 o'clock and pain was gone and it fits snug and close to the body. Sitting in chair and car was comfortable as well. Anyone else carry this far back? Anything else I should be aware of that may not be obvious?
I will practice the draw stroke to get used to it. Moving the clothes was a bit harder this far back but practice will help. I did like that this far back I can reach behind with my left hand and access firearm if need be.
I'm 6' and 320 lbs (i.e. fat). Yes I'd like to change that. Based on size I do have long shirts that will provide great untucked coverage of the firearm.
