What is the last gun that you bought?

This arrived today....pretty thrilled about it. I got a smoking deal on it, because one of my co-workers is an FFL. It was 5% over cost. :D $640 out the door.

Smith&Wesson M&P Sport
hate to burst your bubble. I just received my S&W M&P15 sport yesterday. $540. free shipping, $20 transfer fee at the LGS.

:)

The last gun I bought hasn't been made or delivered yet. S&W 57. I wish they would get off their fannies and make it.

My dealer probably doesn't have the buying power of LGS, he's a small operation. He's a great guy to deal with and giving me his best deal, so I'm good with that.

Back in May I picked up from a dealer having Ruger Days a SR1911 CMD Lightweight. That gives me the full size SR1911 , a CMD and now the Lightweight SR1911. I like my Ruger's and the 1911 platform.

Another .303 British rifle...

Today, 27 August 2015, I bought a Ruger Number 1 in caliber .303 British. It was a 'consignment' gun, meaning it has been fired and used to some degree.

I will fire it tomorrow, check chronograph readings and verify the sighting. I have notice the front sight is bent to port; I have no idea if it has been sighted in since then.

Report to follow.

A dozen or so years back I went through a .22 lever phase, had quite a few, some really old, collectible & fairly expensive and I thought I was all done with them; just a couple months ago sold the last one except a keeper 39a I rescued/rebuilt ... then a week or two ago I saw a Henry "Evil Roy" and the itch set in ... I gave in yesterday :)

I took it out for a few rounds late yesterday, about 30 yards, off-hand, open sights shooting some Fiocchi subsonic ... really nice trigger and I was shooting golf ball size groups and I just couldn't miss ... I couldn't be happier!

The last one I bought was a couple of years ago , an FN5.7 . I guess I'm over due for another one[emoji28]

Actually as of Oct. 1, 2015:

I bought a Rossi R92 in .45Colt, with 16" barrel. Rossi has IMHO really upped the quality of their 1892 reprps in recent years. I recall looking at a Rossi 1892 repr back when I was in Connecticut some 21+ years ago, the gun's interior looked like it was made by a drunken gorilla Friday afternoon with a broken chisel. You'd have had to pay me to take that one!!
This Rossi (now made by Taurus I note) is a very nice gun with a nice interior. It isn't as nice as a Miroku made 1892 but it is still very nice and for a plinking semi-formal, maybe a "trunk gun" it is a very nice carbine indeed.

Gotta love those Henry's. I was forced to sell my M1-A due to the fact that the range put a limit of nothing larger than a .223 for rifles but so far no mention about pistol calibers so when I saw the Henry Big Boys in 44mag, 45LC and .357 I got to thinking.... Now I might be adding a new one, even though I said I was done, to the stable.

Couple of Beretta 92s. A 1994 Italian made 92L Compact and 92G Wilson Brigadier Tactical.

Wilson/Beretta 92 Brigadier Tactical

I bought it in January...... I have a serious itch right now, since I usually buy 2 or 3 guns a year. But buying a house and windows sort of took president.

Ah gee. I feel like a kid who ate to much Halloween candy. An old friend is moving to a retirement home and is disposing of his firearms. I stopped by to look and came home with four Smith and Wesson revolvers: a 34 no dash with diamond center grips, a 36 no dash, a 60 no dash, and a 65-5. The 60 and 65 came with original boxes, all paperwork and accessories. All four are ANIB. Four revolvers and 500 rounds of .223 for under $2000.

This has hung around long enough for me to get back in!

I didn't buy this but I received a .45 Colt govt mod. , 5" from my boss. Been there 44 years so she popped for an early retirement gift.!fun! fun!!

I have little girl hands so I can't use any Beretta larger than my M1951, but that is a beautiful Italian Lady, Kodiak.
