Scope mount height for modified cz 527

I just installed a modified low profile bolt handle on my cz 527 and have on order a new leupold vxr 3-9x40mm. I'm curious what scope rings would give me the lowest mounting with the new setup? I was looking at the leupold 30mm rings in medium height. They don't have a low but it may not be needed if the medium clearance is good. Do you guys have any other suggestions on rings and heights I could look into?

I ended up putting a standard picatinny base on mine, it opened up a lot more ring choices than the cz 16 mm rings. Biggest issue I had was clearing the eyepiece of the scope with the bolt.

Since our CZ rifles have such a high bolt throw, mediums are probably the lowest ring you are going to get away with. I have sent low rings back cause they simply don't allow the scope to clear. Add to that the high bolt throw, you have to fret over ocular lens and bolt handle clearance as well as objective lens clearance over the barrel.

I have a Redfield 3-9x33 with Warne medium rings mounted on my CZ .223 with room to spare...along with the modified handle of course.

I used Warne high rings to mount the Weaver Tactical Grand Slam 3-10x40.

I considered modifying the bolt in order to go lower, but the current scope height fits my cheek weld just perfect as it is.

I used the High Matte version of the same rings (http://www.midwayusa.com/product/398781/warne-permanent-attachable-ring-mounts-cz-527-16mm-dovetail) with a CenterPoint 2-7x32mm scope (http://www.crosman.com/optics/scopes/adventure-class-2-7x32-mm) on the 527 carbine.
