M&P 9c with 17 rd full size mags??

The problem when using a full sized magazine without and adapter, or stop on the mag body, is that you run into the issue of the magazine possibly over riding the magazine catch as you insert it
I have used full size mags in compacts during club compilations many times without any adapters. I never had any problems and I sometimes carry a compact as a BUG since the spare mag for my full size can go into either gun.
The feel of a naked mag sticking out is a little different but you will get used to it quickly.

Yes, I use 17 rnd mags in my 9c w/o an adapter and it works fine for me.
That is great to hear, I may just go that route as my G22 mags in my G27 sometimes choke up just like in the video link below. I'm glad to hear m and p's don't have the same issue.
