Hello fellow enthusiasts! My first post here and hope you can help. I'm in the market for a nickel plated colt lawman .357 snub nose. I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life several years ago and sold my first gun, which just so happened to be my lifelong favorite gun. Now that I've picked myself back up and am in a much better place in life, I'm looking to get the same (obviously not exact) gun back. Here's my question. I keep running into (what seem to be) high prices and am wondering what a well kept Colt Lawman snubby goes for these days. Any other comparable .357 recommendations are also greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

I have a couple of 98% Lawman snubs in blue with nice original grips. I would have to have at least $750 to part with one. If it was in nickel, I would expect another $100.

Someone else that understands why I have held on to mine. I really would prefer a 3" barrel but the grip fits my hand better than any other factory gripped gun I own.

Still on the fence about getting it converted to .50GI for the best American "Bulldog".

I am hanging onto mine just to watch the price climb. Without looking at my notes, I believe I gave about $550 for each. I only recall ever shooting one of them.

Nice ,but I am poor I can only afford old S&W 36 and 49 . Colt revolvers are out of my price range I have my Fathers old colt that guarded our house . He bought it doing the Prohibition era. Only hand gun in our house . Till late 60's then he got a used Ruger Blackhawk . Never fired it . Guess he just wanted. I have both to day

My richer sister and her husband collect Python's

Always like the Colt Mk.III and Mk.V series of revolvers. Also considered the Lawman Mk.III and Mk.V snubbies to be the modern American equivalent to the British Bulldog type revolver.

Went the less expensive route

I got a gun with initials stamped on the side and naturally got a better price on a very clean Mrk III What looks like haze is a reflection of my Tshirt.
