How many of you have some old reloading manuals?

I've got a couple of 40s or 50s era Ideal manuals so I could get reloading data for my old .41 Long Colt. Otherwise, I use more up to date manuals.

Butch.

I started reloading around 1980 and I still have all the reloading manuals that I have purchased over the years.

I also have many the pamphlets from the powder manufacturers before they transferred them to the Al Gore net.

There are a number of old manuals available online in PDF format...

I may have spoken too soon...

The manuals I was aware of at Steve's Pages are still available, but the ones I was thinking of at CastPics.Net may not be...

The site's registration expired in late November, and so far it does not seem to be back up (though it shows on a Google search)...

For a real interesting read, you need to get a copy of Handloading Ammunition, by J R Mattern. I have an original copy from 1926, and it is amongst my most prized possessions. Reprints are available, as well.

Love reading the older books, I have a few ideal books from the 40's up to the present but my "go to's " for nostalgia are sharpe's book and an ideal from 1936 with can you believe,, the original envelope sent to a capt in us army in 194? ( can't make out last digit,, think 1 though.).
