I noticed their web site for reloading is totally different. And they have hardly any powders listed.

Ramshot Silhouette is the only handgun powder listed. And I know of recently they had more than that showing in stock.

bluetopper, what you read could make sense.

no more firearms

there are no more firearms listed on the new web site too. Makes you wonder if the new owner has applied for license.

I hope it wasn't sold. I liked them and bought many items there. Nice people.

Their websits says:

Widener's Reloading and Shooting Supply - New Look!
NRA round-up

We just updated our website with what we believe is a slightly improved layout. If you have any questions or run into trouble finding what you'd like, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Our hope is this new design will make finding the ammo or reloading equipment you need even easier. Plus, the checkout process should be much quicker as well and even more secure. In the short term, bear with us as our tech team gets all of our products up to speed on the newly designed site. We know we're running a little thin but in a few weeks, we should be back to normal in terms of having all the ammo and reloading gear you're used to seeing available for sale. We hope you enjoy and thanks for coming by!

NOTICE:
Widener's continues to proudly offer a wide line-up of pistol and rifle ammmunition, reloading components like bullets and powder as well as a full assortment of shooting supplies at great prices. Our team is currently shipping same-day on most items and we're happy to keep you well-armed at cheap prices.

Agreed Epat. They have been my primary go to for on line supplies but navigating their site was like chewing a bucket of nails

Well, their website has needed a facelift for years.
true...but not their prices.

no IMI ammo in stock, which was one of the better 9mm deals IMO

it sure has the feel of new ownership

inventory is very limited- also mentioned.
only one pistol powder in stock

hope the new business retains some of its prior deals, only time will tell

Hate to see them change.

Time will tell if they are good to deal with and have the same good service and pricing they did prior to this.

Quick response from them,

Thanks for contacting us. We are still updating our systems and not all products are visible yet. We appreciate your patience during this upgrade.

If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know.

Have a great night!

Matt

Didn't address if there was a change of ownership, but that explains the inventory change.

They have a single brass product listed: 6.5 Grendel. I think it's safe to say that all of the inventory hasn't been migrated to the new website yet.

I use to get an email from Widener's at least once per week, sometimes 2 or 3 per week, with sale items or new products. After reading this thread I realized I have not had one since before Christmas.

I received 8lbs of Power Pistol ($19.95 ea) from them this past Wednesday, I had ordered it on 12/24. It wasn't listed on GunBot but I stumbled on it when surfing the site. It did have a NRA round-up check box during checkout ( I hit it ). The invoice was on yellow paper, don't remember if the last order was or not.

Try Graf's. I ordered some Speer and Combined Tech bullets from them. Great price and fast service.
Thanks, I am very familiar with Graf's. They are on my Good Vendors List. :)

The problem is that Grafs wants to charge me ~$152/delivered for the 1K 230gr FMJ Armscor .45 bullets that I have previously gotten from Wideners for as low as their listed price last week of $130/delivered.

It's getting close to time for me to top-up my supply ...

The same cars were in the parking lot when I drove by last Friday that are there every Friday when I drive by. There is one Jeep and one pickup that are very easy to recognize. I live about 25 miles away and pass by when I go to town on Fridays.

Too bad they door is only open on Tuesday and Thursday or I would stop and ask this week.
