Yet another B Retta :)

Yea, I have looked at those before - along with the bushing deal that WAL at the Beretta Forum does. I kinda like my 92's to be stock, personally.... With just a few normal mods. I did the comped thing back in the 1990s (on other guns). It doesn't really interest me that much anymore

Do you know what the sku # is for that? All I see online are the ones with normal 3 dot sights? I really want one if you couldn't tell haha

I think it's a limited deal. ONe vendor on Gunbroker had them - and he is sold out. Someone else on the Beretta Forum told me they tried to get one the next day - and the vendor was done.

The sku # is: J90C9F14

It's a special for law enforcement with the night sights and 3rd mag

I'm jealous! I see they also have an inox version J90C9F24. That is awesome though, thanks for sharing. I searched both those numbers and they come up on LE only websites and government websites. That's too bad.

Yea, they don't come up often. Every once in a while, I see a vendor with fullsize models with factory night sights. But it has been over a decade since models with night sights have been out at any gun store I have ever been to. In the late 1990s, it wasn't that hard to find one on a store shelf some place....

Yeah I'm a 90's guy, that is the whole reason why I got the comp. I like the old Beretta's, the one I have is made in 1993. But it is hard to find old 92's where I live, so my wheel is shy of a few Beretta's. Witch brings me to ask, how do you like the newer Beretta's with the polymer frame, I have been eyeballing the M9A1 for a while now.

I think you are mistaken - none of 92 series has a polymer frame. The M9A1 is just a 92FS with a rail. Now, the 92A1 and 96A1 has a shock buffer in it - but it is not much different.

Or do you mean the PX4 series?

Just finished installing a steel trigger on it (I found a dentist tool I forgot I had - made it SO, SO much easier to snare that spring for re-installation).

Now, just awaiting an Elite II hammer, Wilson fluted guiderod and an new mag release (with the large pad on it).

So, I haven't completely put the whole thing back together - otherwise, I'll just have to keep taking the grips off..

I was mistaken I guess. I havent got to see a new M9A1 up close except in pictures. There is not a gun store near me that carries Beretta's and from what I have been told the new 92's have a polymer frame, but that advice was given to me buy a glock dealer that sneered at me when I said Beretta. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

No. Only the Beretta PX4 series has a polymer frame.. Except for their smaller carry guns they have out now. None of the 90 series has a polymer frame.

OK - FINALLY finished doing some customizing. Gun looks fantastic now :)

What do ya think?

- Wilson Fluted guiderod
- Steel Trigger
- Elite II Hammer
- Enlarged Mag Release
- Wilson VZ Compact Grips

Absolutely love it. This thread put an inox compact with rail on my short list. Lovely "little" Beretta:)

Please stop posting photos of this gun, it is not good for my financial health! Looks astounding though!

Looks good shipwreck! Real nice. I typically carry a smaller gun but I'd happily sport that baby.

Sorry, it's gotta be done... I single handedly drive up Beretta sales :D

Wow, that looks great! Makes me want a Beretta and I'm lukewarm on them from having so many issued M9s. I do like the new models and especially the Wilson versions.

Ahhh, ok. And the "wheel" you promised, sir?

Gonna have to wait a little longer - I sent the slide from my Wilson Brigadier Tactical to Trijicon. I hate the all black, rear sight that Wilson put on. I am getting a 2 dot tritium sight put on (the front sight was already tritium). I sent it off Monday.

When I get it back - there will be a new "wheel" photo :D

Ok - just got back from shooting 200 rounds thru this gun. Shot some runds all in DA, 1 handed and 2 handed. 7 and 15 yards.

Damn, I like this gun. Put many rounds thru 1 hole at 7 yards many times.

I really like the grips. I didn't like the Wilson grips on my fullsize WIlson Brigadier. I just changed them out and sold them to buy these for the compact. Hogue grips for the Beretta 92 compacts are fatter than they are for the fullsize. But man - the Wilson VZ grips for the compact are nice. These particular ones seem a bit more aggressive in the texture than the ones that came with the Brigadier Tactical.

Nice gun! I was the only one shooting something besides a Glock there at the range too.

Anyway - happy with the purchase! And, seeing as this is my 27th Beretta 92 variant, it's not like I didn't know what I was getting :p
