Anyone know anything about Carolina Shooter's Supply's Saiga conversion kits? Are they high quality kits or more low-end? I was looking at something like:

I'm not sure about that trigger guard or stock tube. Will the trigger guard reliably keep the pistol grip attached? Is the stock tube going to be solid and durable? Seems stupid to use cheap parts to convert a quality gun.

I used one of their kits on my Saiga 12. Granted there's a lot of plastic, but it's been robust enough to hold up for several years now. And by hold up I mean walk into the back yard and put a mag or two downrange.

I wouldn't use their conversion kit if you planned on some serious use or were intending on this to be a "combat" gun. The casual range plinker and cool-guy gun it fits the bill.

Buy with confidence. CSS's basic conversion kits are very good quality. When installed correctly on a Saiga (with properly installed bullet guide and properly-modified mag release), you will have a good hard-use AK. This is assuming you are referring to a Saiga rifle. I have little experience with the shotguns.

Now the choice of furniture is up to you. The Tapco SAW grip is "meh" at best, but easily replaced. The Mapgpul MOE stock is a quality part, but I know nothing about the Tromix adapter/buffer tube.

I know that the last kit I got from CSS was ordered with KVAR polymer furniture (US-made fixed stock on Bulgarian pattern), and it was very high-quality. Similar to this kit:
