(Not sure if this should go in Revolvers; if not, my apologies)

Speedloaders being a little bulky to carry, are there any clips/pouches that would be useful for speed strips? The pouches I've seen (from Tuff Strip) don't look ideal, as they don't have belt loops and rely on the flap to keep them attached. What would be really neato would be a metal clip of some sort-- I carry J-frames, so there's an empty spot near the middle of the strip that could rest in a belt clip.

I'v been using the Tuff Pouches for over two years with no issues. I've worn one on my duty belt for my BUG S&W 642.

When not working, I normally carry a G-26 with two spare mags on my belt, and one of the pouches will be on my belt with two strips for my BUG which is carried on my ankle.

In the summer, if I'm wear a tucked shirt, I'll pocket carry my BUG and have the pouch in the other pocket.

Like I said, over two years, zero issues or complaints.

Clips seem to come unclipped just about the time you don't want them to. The "flap" on an ammo pouch does a fine job of keeping things in line. Simply Rugged makes a nice ammo pouch, and they're in your area.

I use a Safariland dump pouch I bought in 1974.

I keep the strip loaded with 6 rds. Nevery know if that one extra round can make a difference.

Here I am, looking high and low, and there's what I'm looking for right where I live.
Which is why I also suggested it. :D

I just received a Simply Rugged sourdough pancake and ammo pouch in basketweave for my Speed Six. Shipping to my door was just short of three weeks. The pouch holds seven rounds of .38/.357. Six in a strip plus one next to it or five in a strip for the little snubbies (center open) and one extra round. Pretty handy.

Since you're local you might just get lucky and find a pouch you like hanging around the shop. I've done this with DM Bullard before. Everything in stock doesn't always make it to the website.
