Thanks ratshooter, from the bottom mod 36, mod 19, the top 2 are mod 25 mountain gun, and mod 57 mountain gun, I'm trying to get the whole series of the mountain guns, hopefully the next one will be the mod 29. Also have 4 1911's and 11 more long guns..

You could do a lot worse than a collection like that. You've got some very good taste Jeeper. Just look at that model 19. Pinned and recessed and all. Very very nice.

That's a great collection just the way it stands right now. Another Mountain Gun in .44 Magnum should fit in quite nicely.

I too also currently have four Smith's, a 438, Model 10, Model 69 and 3" 686+. Used to have a 442, Modelo 1938 (1917), 21-4, 63 and a 36.

Also currently have four Colt revolvers. Used to have three different ones of those too.

What a really nice start. Very addictive, they are.

Thanks guys, our net has been down. I love my smiths. Great guns, the mod 19 to me is a real nice carry gun. I've concealed it, here we have open carry. Very well balanced gun, plus knowing the history and the folks that put time in on it inception make it that much better. the arhends are pretty comfortable on my mod 25, on the 41 their ok, lol I think folks with arthritis in there wrist need target grips, but I feel the arhends just set it off pretty well. I had the pleasure of putting the turn lines on both mountain guns, but anyway thanks folks..

The model 19 is,a great revolver, arguably the finest carry .357 S& W ever made. Add the Chiefs Special as a BUG and you're still good to go!

I found both my mountain guns on gunbroker, they do fetch a good price though. I thinks maybe 8 or so on there right now.

Looks like Ahrends Moradillo Combat. I put Ahrends on three of my S&W's.
My Combat Magnum with Moradillo Target.

Nice guns and keep in mind, every collection begins with a single gun. :)

Among my revolvers I never had a snub nose in the group. I just added S&W Model 10-5 two inch with the square butt.

You sure picked a heck of a snub nose to add as your first. The M10 is a great short barrel revolver and not that much larger than the Chiefs Special.

Thanks, I was looking at several Model 10 guns, there was a Model 10-8 with the 4" heavy barrel and several others including this gun. The guy who owns the shop is a friend and generally offers me good deals, which he did.

My revolvers were lacking anything 2" so I figured why not. I am happy with it.

Thanks

Very nice foursome you have there.

In my book there just isn't much better than a nice S&W revolver.

Highly envious of the Model 57 Mountain Gun. Wonder if they'll ever make another run or if that is now in the past? Really like the way the Ahrends look on the Mountain Guns too, but they have a long and narrow feel to them I don't like much. Going to end up putting something else on my Model 25 Mountain Gun.

As others have already said, that is a very nice collection you already have right there.

Very nice start....one nice thing about a gun addiction is that if you buy carefully it isn't just a collect, it's an investment.

I love the stainless Mountain Guns. Have the 629-5, 625 .45 ACP and a 657. The 657 has to be my all time favorite. Had two till last year but sold one to a good friend...

Very nice. I have OCD where I need sets and groups that go together so the three mountain guns are working, except then I'd need a 41 Mag Blackhawk and that throws a wrench in the Ruger collection LOL
