Reliable 10mm 1911 mags?

Are the 9 rnd mags new? If not how old and how much use have they seen?

Favorite brand of mags for me are the Mecgars.

Wilson's 9-rd mags run great in my Delta Elite.

I find it interesting. All of my 10mm mags work well. I don't have a bad one of the Mecgar, Les Baer, Dan Wesson, Old Wilson or even Colt. Try one of them.

Tripp are the best 1911 mags i know of.

I was going to say it sounds like a pistol issue, rather than a mag issue, if he's getting malfs with all of his Tripp mags. I have a few of those too and they've all run flawlessly.

The best 1911 style magazines you can buy, in any caliber, are Chip McCormick Magazines, hands down!

Would help to describe the jams in detail.

The extractor should be considered as well.

I run all Tripp mags with no problems. I think you have other problems.

Either Wilson or original factory Colt would be my choices. The latter being more expensive but reliable just like the Wilson magazines.

That's a weird one! Trying to think what could be happening on the next to last round? Could the slide stop be catching on the mag follower prematurely? It's supposed to be lifted by the tab on the side on the last round, but if it's catching the top of the follower that would be about the next to last round time frame. If it's not that...I'm out of ideas. Pictures would be helpful!

Could be an tight extractor. Also sometimes the ejector needs a little tuning.

Sometimes a lot of rounds down the pipe wear the sharp spots off and things will begin to work well. You can send it back to Fusion and they will polish the ramp, extractor, breech face, and ejector.

Shooting it will do the same thing and be more fun.

I have a Dan Wesson 10 mm and have had good luck with Tripp mags.

I'll go against conventional wisdom here...

But all my 45acp Wilson mags ran 10mm just perfectly in my Delta Elite. Over 1k rounds, and not a single jam, skip, or misfeed.

Different pistols work with different mags. The mags present the nose of the round at different heights.

I would recommend trying the Checkmate 10mm mags. They seem to work well with Fusion guns.
