A couple years ago while visiting a gun range, there was a gentleman that let my wife shoot his Bearcat. He had the grip custom rounded like the Shopkeeper model. She liked shooting it, saying it was the right size.

Earlier this week, we stopped into the LGS for her to check out CC purses.

Wondered over to a gun case, and there it was. The Shopkeeper! Feels like a very solid gun.

Always wanted a SA revolver for the heck of it. Now for the weather to clear up.

Not many guns left on my "must have" list. I have pretty much filled all my wants.

Except this one. I really want a shopkeeper

That's pretty sweet.

I gave up all New Gun Funds when I bought an older house and took a job that pays about half of what I was making in my old town.

Fortunately, I also enjoy hardware stores and swinging a hammer (the nail driving kind).

When you have opportunity to buy a new piece, enjoy holy living heck outta it...

That's one nifty looking Bearcat! Like the look of the rounded birdshead style grip! Would make for a great Kit Gun.

I've thought about getting a bearcat so many times for plinking and walking around the woods. A single 10 makes more sense, but the miniature Vaquero lines of the BC speak to me.

If I stumbled across a shopkeeper, I'd have to buy it. I love sub-4" revolvers.

It is a looker! My wife does best with handguns under 30 oz. At 22 oz. it is ideal. She is looking forward to the chance at the range with it. :)

I have a whole fleet of 22's. I use these when taking grandkids shooting. A Bearcat is in the group and I bought another for a daughter in law. Really classy and good shooters and just the right size for women and kids.
