NAA .22 conversion cylinder [!]

It looks overly complicated to me. Those little disks will be easily lost. Why not design the conversion like every other, and use a plate with firing pins attached? Cut a magnum cylinder shorter which will allow room for the firing pin breech plate.

Actually I was wondering it anyone sells a conversion FROM .22 Magnum TO percussion.

Would a standard .22magnum NAA revolver be suitable for use with a BP C&B cylinder?

I know they made both BP C&B models and convertibles in the past, but what about a stand alone drop in cylinder for BP C&B in a standard gun?

I'm wondering the same thing

I would seriously doubt it, it would require a firing pin adaptor, the reverse of what's found on the b/p to modern conversion; the buttons. NAA purposely made it difficult to avoid any problems with the ATF.

ROBHOF,

NAA did originally make and sell a combo gun that could by merely switching cylinders fire either rimfire or BP C&B.

My understanding is that their original C&B guns could be converted to cartridge with only the cylinder just as original cartridge guns could be made into BP C&B guns..

ATF complained that was too easy to sell a Non Firearm and convert it to cartridge use and made noises about raising a fuss and that NOW BP C&B NAA revolvers have a different hammer and breech face than rimfire ones.

Not the other way around.

This new conversion with the individual disc firing pins and counter sunk chambers are for use in the newer NAA BP C&B revolvers and not sold by NAA.

The Mini I have has a firing pin and breach face set up amazingly like an Remington NMA "1858" BP C&B revolver and with a BP C&B cylinder of the original NAA style in place would fire it just fine. I do not know of anywhere to buy such and NAA will not sell or install such as I understand it.
