I'm having difficulty seeing particular manufacturer's offerings in the following parameters:

J frame
Hammerless
Leather
Brown
IWB with spring steel clip
Pistol retention either through a deliberate device or well fitted leather as shown.

I like El Paso as shown with my SIG and also Galco.

What I have no interest in is the following:

Nylon
Plastic retaining clips
Velcro
"Suede"
Less interest in black leather but will take it especially over suede

Links or other photos specific to this series of pistols and noting the above parameters will be most appreciated in pursuit of ordering one.
Seems manufacturers have generic stock photos and particulars are often not noted from model to model.

I should also note that I and my wife prefer a low carry with a high clip as shown.

Thanks in advance.

Really? Nothing?

No one carries one of these series, has a photo and the inclination to share?

You lost me at "clip." My favorite IWB holster, whether for J-Frame, 1911, or 1911 compact, is the Bianchi Covert Option, which has loops rather than a clip. Looks like this:

The mouth rides high enough that one-handed re-holstering is easy, and the soft panel on front keeps things snug.

AZANDY - Thanks for that. I had completely discounted belt engagement since I don't like threading the belt due to the time constraints.

I'll look into the snap-loop styles. And I do like Bianchi.

And XRAP - what NOT to get is at least half the battle in many cases so thanks. I have never felt comfortable with those styles where the retaining clips are anywhere near the middle of the overall dimensions of the holster. Could be my own wearing style, but as you note - they always seem to want to be escaping on me.

This one has belt loops, but I think they're worth the extra time to attach and they don't scratch up your belt. Wes from Privateer Leather made this one for me. I highly recommend him. It's a lot like his Marauder model, but with some small changes at my request. I quickly forget that I'm wearing this setup.

Another county heard from.

Thanks for the tip - I don't believe I've heard of your maker but will certainly look into it. I really appreciate a maker using logoed "pull the dot" fasteners.

The grips too... I'm another fan of those. Very nice.

Thanks for that. Just looked and they don't list a 340 on the chart, and, when I tried to complete a checkout - though the 340 is listed there - it ultimately says that the pistol is not compatible with the Professional.

Sorry can't help you Todd. Favorite IWB holster for my S&W Model 649 and Model 638 is a DeSantis SOF-TUCK. Uses a plastic retaining clip and suede in it's construction. I find it to be well made and extremely secure.

Call them - I carry a Rossi snubbie. Had to order a J frame holster. I called and they sent me the right one.

Concerning the stocks shown in post #8.

I believe they were made by:

Altamont Company
901 North Church St. P.O. box 309
Thomasboro, IL. 61878
(800) 626-5774

Who often do special work for Smith & Wesson and others in the industry.

This is my Galco copy of a Crosbreed. I like how the Kydex does not colapse when the gun is removed like most plyable materials. The wide spacing of the clips keeps everything very secure and evenly distributed. I wear it at about four oclock.

Edit: After re-reading your criteria I guess this is not quite an exact match to your needs. But it is something to think about if nothing else.

Is that kydex over leather or all kydex?

I don't have a problem with kydex on the gun - just against my skin.

I have the same Glaco King-Tuk holster for my Model 36. I have been very happy with it. The front is obviously black, but the backing on mine is brown leather if that helps any. Its very comfortable and secure.
