I have a chance to get a VERY lightly used(~50 rounds) Taurus 1911B-1 for $425.
After reading reviews it seems that the gun is a very good buy and offers lots of value, but some reviews said the finish was not up to par with other finishes. These reviews were from the 2010-11 time frame.
The guy gave me the serial number and it is a 2015 model. Has Taurus improved their finishes on their 1911s over the last few years? I recently bought a Taurus PT111-G2 and the finish is very nice on that gun.
He sent me pics of the gun and it looks fantastic.
Do the Taurus brand of guns have a full length guide rod?
