Two gun ccw

Two Revolvers every day. I carried a SP101 with LCR357 as back up. Then it was the LCR and 442 for back up. All Winter while in Florida I carried a S&W 36 with a 442. Now that I'm back home I've been carrying my Taurus 617 - 7 shooter and the 442.

Always a NAA Black Widow in 22WMR and when a 2nd is carried it is a 44 [farm and woods] or a 1911 [town].

I haven't doubled down recently, but I have in the past. Typically it's a glock 43 in strong hand pocket and a spring assist Kershaw weak hand pocket. If I feel a need to carry more, I pull out the shoulder rig and put the m9 there and 2 mags in weak hand pocket.

My favorite was always my M-4 with attached M203 and my M9 (ewwwwwiiieeeee, but Uncle Sam would not allow me to take my Glock).

Now though usually my trusty Glock or my little Shield.

S&W 642 appendix, NAA mini clip grip at 4 o'clock I also carry 2 knives. one pepperspray.

i occasionally carry a BUG, especially if out with my wife who doesn't like to carry but likes having the spare on me.

The only time I carried two I was rabbit hunting and carried my .22 pistol and a shotgun. That .45 is all the extra weight I care to manage every day.

Have a friend who has 8 or 10 "carry guns". He jokes about how many he has and often carries two with a 3rd in his glove box, sometimes yet another in his satchel. It's not that he feels in so much danger that he has to carry an arsenal, but he just really likes guns and can't decide which one(s) to bring with him. He buys and trades so much, it would be hard to guess how many guns he has. His penchant for trading motivates him to carry several tradable pieces all the time; it's like cash to him.

I can barely keep my pants up carrying one ( yes, I have a good belt ). However, a neighbor carries one pistol, 3 knives on him and 6 more knives in his truck so he can stab any intruder from various locations in the truck, if he can't draw his pistol. No joke.

I carry either a J frame 642 or an XD Mod 2 sub compact on a daily basis. On the days I travel, I also carry a Bond Arms Rustic Ranger in .357 in a cross draw holster. I rarely carry two guns except in this case.

I don't always carry one gun, let alone two. I have concealed two on a few occasions, but it's rare. If I'm in snake country I may carry two guns, one loaded with snake shot and one loaded for critters, and if I'm traveling I may have belt and pocket guns with me so that I have options. But carry two on a daily basis? Nah.

In how many locations within his truck does he typically hang out!?

I always have two. I keep some type of auto on my belt iwb (lately a cz p07 most of the time, but on occasion a g17, g26, s&w 910, or 1911), a spare mag, and a Ruger LCR .38 in the front pocket. Why not? It's so easy.

On my person? No, almost never. One on my person and larger one in the vehicle I'm driving? Yes, daily.

Many are looking at a BUG solely as something to carry in case your main battery fails. There are other reasons. For example:

1. NY Reload- under most circumstances pulling a second gun is a lot faster than reloading one. Reloading is a fine motor skill compared to drawing a second gun. I know there are some that carry a SA revolver as a CCW. I know some can fire a SA as fast or faster than many can a DA. If you do, you need to carry a BUG. Unless you are absolutely sure you are going to end the fight with 5 or 6 shots.

2. Arm a companion- If you are with someone who is trained but not armed, you can arm him or her if time permits. This makes the bad guy have to deal with two good guys instead of one. This greatly increases your chance of success.

There are others but this covers the main points.

Back in the day I would sometimes carry a 1911 OWB, a 2 1/2" S&W M19 in a shoulder holster and a J frame in an ankle holster (with reloads for all three).

I owned a mini market at the time.
In your case I would also open carry an AR15 on a sling and have a 12 gauge pump under the counter along with another 1911.
:D

Why knives instead of guns stumps me.
A knife is close quaters can do more damage than a gun.

I usually only carry one but my wife usually has an M&P shield in her backpack a Glock 42 in her purse and a g43 in the waistband. Along with a 900 lumen pocket light and depends from day to day on how many knives.

Sniper66 writes about a friend:

I've been there. Last summer when I was driving up to NC, I decided that I would bring three guns: my EDC, my DCC (deep-conceal gun for any needed pocket-carry), and a shotgun for the truck.

But, I also had just gotten two other handguns I had a hard time not looking at, and one was a revolver in .22, so I thought maybe I'll get a chance to do some plinking, so they came along as well. Well, if I did do some plinking, I certainly needed a .22LR semi-auto, so yet another gun came along..
