I just ordered a Bergara B-14 Hunter for a friend. Didn't know they made a rifle. They are priced right, come in several different styles and are pleasing to the eye. Has anyone had any experience with them and if so, how do they perform?

I will have to check out my friend's when it comes in. If it has a decent trigger I may have to get one for my upcoming deer season.:D

I would be interested in a range report. I've looked for information on these and little is available because they are new to the market. Bergara offers one in 6.5 Creedmoor that interests me.

Fella's;

I believe that American Rifleman recently had an article about the company.

I have read a few articles on them. They claim 1 MOA out of the box with match ammo and their barrels are some of the best. I can hardly wait to get my hands on one and check it out personally. I have read reviews on other rifles that left me disappointed when I finally got to test them. Usually a bad trigger, cheap stock or sloppy bolt. Many of them shoot decently but could have been better with a couple of refinements.

I will post a review as soon as the B-14 comes in. Hopefully with some tight groups.

Bruce,

I too have a hankering for the Creedmoor. I had a Vanguard 6.5 CM that didn't shoot to suit me, so I ordered a Ruger Predator and will play with it next week. I will probably order the B-14 in 6.5 CM if the Ruger doesn't pan out.

That Ruger Hawkeye Predator is a nice looking rifle. I'd be interested in hearing about your experience with that too.

Guys if you want a Creedmoor, get a savage lrp. Mine will shoot sub 1/4 moa with my new load I have recently worked up! I'm reforming Norma 308 win brass and all the necessary prep for the cases, 123gr amax, 37.5gr varget, and WLR primers.
