California set to ban most semi-auto rifles.

Given the state of bills to come, people are going to have to make a decision. Either resist and run the risk of being a felon in waiting or get on their knees and be a slave!

The choice is yours, my bet is that at least 99% of CA gun owners will get on their knees.

The decision for THOUSANDS was made long ago going back to the 2000 CA "assault rifle" mandatory registration were something between 5 and 10% complied.

I suspect the compliance rate would be the same or lower this time. The HUGE different is that this time we're talking about MILLIONS of firearms and not merely tens of thousands.

Not trying to be rude but why would any red-blooded American continue to reside in such a place? Sure you can stay and fight the good fight but it is too late to save that ship.

I departed Maryland and never looked back. My decision was based on the hostile attitude toward gun owners and the crazy taxes. Seen Baltimore lately?

It is not easy to relocate but once you have made the jump you can breath freedoms fresh air again.

People like you seem to think this VAST state is all LA City and it's not.

I don't think that for a moment. And you misrepresented what I said, not the least of which, you evidently missed where I said "some places" in the state. Anyone who has lived there know there is a lot more to CA than the large metro areas.

However, entire state is under the insane laws passed in Sacramento. And that is simple fact that cannot be escaped.

deeper roots in CA realize that things go in cycles.

Good luck waiting for things to get better with respect to the laws there. I wouldn't hold my breath. ;)

There are some people with legitimate reasons.

And many people for whom staying is just easier and the restrictions are something they can deal with.

I'm in a county job, and have seven more years until I can retire. My son has already bugged out to Idaho, and he LOVES it there. He was raised very pro-2A, and says he feels like he can breath again.
