No ammo for me either, but I did get an 8# jug of Unique because of Orlando. I may be okay on other components but there are more to come.

I haven't bought ammo as I load my own...but Sunday morning I did order 12 more pounds of powder and 10K primers.

I did buy ammo today, but only because Sportsman's Guide had a great deal on www.Slickguns.com. 500 Wolf 62g .223 for $118.74 with free shipping.

Last I heard it takes a long time for ammo to go stale.

Sold the nice CZ-82 today, FTF as always; part of the plan weeks ago to add just one more AK derivative to the collection.
It might be best not to postpone the decision of Which gun to buy.

The next psycho might not use an AR-15.

Have enough, but in the spirit of thumbing my nose at the gun grabbers, I bought a few boxes of 5.56 today.

I bought a thousand "rounds" of .177 Crosman Premier pellets and another thousand in .22. Does that count:). So I am a good 29-30 bucks in the hole here. :p

I haven't really been effected by the panics for a long time. I am generally always able to find ammo on a caliber I can use and even though I have enough.22 to burn so to speak I find I enjoy higher end stuff through my bolt actions and GOOD .22 was never really hard to come by.

I worry less about my personal shooting and more about the future of folks rights honestly.

As an aside it always amazes me how much you can count on the laws of unintended consequences. If folks / politicians would shut the hell up ammo and gun sales would drop dramatically over time. Less evil scary guns would end up sold. Less ammo would be stockpiled because you could just grab a box or six when you wanted. By constantly beating the drums of BAN/LIMIT/ATTACK THE TOOLS. All these folks have effectively done is put a metric ton of the weapons into the wild they don't want out there. They have put a bazillion rounds in people's basements and sold enough standard capacity magazines to outfit several militaries just through gun guy charity.

Same thing with the 1994 ban that drove the AR/"evil gun" market into the mainstream and was pretty much the reason we have the pocket sized full caliber carry guns today.

If politicians really wanted to stem the tide of guns and ammo the best thing they could do is **** and let it naturally migrate back to a smaller fringe group.

But hey I personally find it hilarious that one day my daughters kids are gonna be having a conversation akin to "why the hell did grandpa need a bazillion rounds of ammo and what the hell are we gonna do with all this?"

Yes. The goal from weeks ago was to buy a last AK derivative.

Today, the seller included five boxes of WPM 7.62x39 with the Mak 90. We met in the Gander Mt. parking lot.

I didn't buy more to stock up. However, a buddy and I had planned several weeks ago to Ho to the range on the Monday. We went and I bought ammo to shoot at the range at her than dip into my supplies. This practice started for pistols and shotguns back in 2008 when there was a run on ammo when Obama got elected.

If I will take a class or do high volume shooting, I will buy more pistol or rifle rounds. Otherwise, I'd prefer not to lower my levels and am happy and willing to buy at the range. I shoot weekly trap so there I buy in bulk all the time but I didn't rush out to get any more.

We had fun at the range. It was very empty. It took us a while to figure it out but the NBA game www on and our local team is in it and many stayed home to,watch the game.

None for me. I did buy a can of 420 5.56 last year, and two boxes of 9MM a few months ago.

I am only buying high level ammo to have 3 basic loads if we have a problem. I chose Hornady 75 grain TAP T-2 bullet.
I want my son's to have 2 quick magazines of this bullet ready to go.

I checked "I'm completely unaware of recent events" because it was true for me up until yesterday. We'd been up in Montana, away from TV and Internet. On our way home, coming through Salmon, Idaho we noticed the flags were at half mast. So I asked the cashier "why" when we stopped for gas.
Anyway, long story short - I would have checked "No, I've got plenty" if I'd been aware of what happened in Florida.:)

I decided to buy 500 40 cal bullets and 500 62 grain FMJ's from RMR tonight.....I noticed they were sold out of the 55 grains bullets. I was like.....oh crap!

I have been reloading everyting I shoot for years, and haven't bought factory ammo since 2008. But...... bought my first AR-15 last week, and got a 120-rd pack of 55 gr. 5.56X45 with it. Ordered a boatload of accessories. Having more fun than a gal with a new dress to 'accessorise'.
Yesterday I ordered a 420 rd. ammo can of SS109 from MidwayUSA. I figure it best to have a stock of known good GI spec ammo for the new gun (for SHTFDay), and will use my handloads for fun shooting.
Sure, I am responding to the late unpleasantness, but I have the money and like the idea of having everything "Ready to rock" ASAP.

I do have a 200 rd. battlepack of 55 gr. stocked back, and about 12K of handloaded 55 gr. .223Rem, so I am ready for the "Zombiepocalypse" (which includes a Shrillary presidency).

I bought a little Blazer Brass because my new 1911 seems to have a fondness or it.

I am living overseas, but was planning to make a large ammo purchase this summer as my wife and daughter are heading home to TX to visit family for a month. The shooting in Orlando did not necessarily advance my timetable. My plans to buy are mainly motivated by the next election. Prices seems to be very reasonable, as low as I can expect them to be, so I figure now is a good time to buy as any.

I discovered just prior to Orlando that my Steyr Aug seems to really like PMC M855 green tip. So yeah, I picked up enough yesterday to keep me going for a while.

Yes I bought both 9mm and 5.56 not because I was lacking but because I want to shoot over the next 6 months without having to pay high prices during the panic.

I did also pick up two BCM AR uppers to finish a couple builds I was working on. I was building them a few part at a time but then when this happen I figured I needed to get them at the lower price before they go out of stock.

I answered "No, I've got plenty" because there was no option for "I don't buy ammunition I can make for myself".

Not counting the boxes of ammunition that came along with I inherited my grandmother's .38 Special and my grandfather's .45 M1911, and not counting rimfire, I have purchased fewer than 230 rounds of ammunition in my lifetime - and I'll be eligible to retire in August.

Everything I shoot, I have loaded myself. And while I anticipate panic buying of components just as much as panic buying of ammunition, the industry has responded to the surge in demand from the last few buying frenzies, so I don't anticipate more than temporary spot shortages.

I bought 13 boxes of 16 gauge shot shells, 60 rounds of Winchester white box .308 ammo and 2000 large rifle primers at the gun club swap meet the Day before the Orlando attack. I have been stocking up on reloading supplies for the last 18 months. I'm in good shape.
