Went yesterday with my boy. He shot up a brick in his Marlin 60 and I went through a bunch in my ar, sks, mosin, and xds. Fun had buy the both of us

Took my soon-to-be 7 year old daughter her first time today.

All .22s. Had fun but had issues with old Federal Thunderbolt ammo. I wasn't as prepared as I should have been and left the ammo can with better Winchester T22 ammo, plus the magazines for one of the rifles.

Both of my sons were obligated...so Wifey and I went to the range. She will not shoot but doesn't like to stay at home.

I tested some loads for the AR. Then shot the 686, Govt. .45, and my carry gun...a DAO .45 form S&W

Middle Tn. was very hot today so, though I enjoyed the shooting, it was miserable hot. I guess the temp is irrelevant. Get out there and quit your whining...Mark. :neener:

I did ....

I shot off six model rockets with my Grand kids and one of the rockets failed the open the chute and landed in a tree ... we had to shoot the limb off the tree to get the rocket down ....

Turned into a expensive rocket ... three boxes of 20 ga, a good part a box of .243 and a couple hundred .22 RF ...

Rocket suffered only two number nine shot holes ... We did have fun !!

I myself took my 10 year old out to shoot his grandpa's .22 revolver for his very first time. His smile was ear to ear! Great day.

I put on a .22 rimfire Schuetzen Match for our club. 100 yards with 20 shots from bench, and 20 shots Offhand. Lots of wind, but lots of fun for all.

I did. Daughter , wife and I spent Sunday morning at the range. I did a lot of shooting with WWII Walther P-38 , I had replaced the recoil springs and wasn't sure I got it right...I did ! Tested several loads.

Got to shoot my 1970 three-screw Ruger Blackhawk 357, I bought it in 1971 , it was the very first handgun I ever bought, I was 21 that year and could legally buy and own a handgun . This BH was my very first .
In 1995 it was stolen. I was upset...sentimental value was high .
In 2015 police recovered it in a Nevada pawn shop and returned it to me. I held out hope that some day we would be reunited...
I shoot her for the first time in 20 years Sunday! Awesome feeling , the sights were right on target...
While I was shooting the Ruger my daughter swept up all the 9 mm brass for me, I let her shoot the BH , she didn't care for magnum loads but the 38 specials were OK. She likes the Ruger 10/22 best, she can tear the center of a target up with that .
All in All a Great Father's day at the range !

Yep. Both boys, my DIL, a friend of hers, a friend of my oldest boy and me. 8 different handguns and about 1000 rounds between us, all centerfire. Messed up a whole bunch of bowling pins.

While I did not go to the range, I did thin out the squirrel population in the garden. Got 9, the dogs had a nice breakfast surprise this morning.

Didn't make it out Sunday, got out yesterday and today. The kids were either in school or at work. Shot .38 Spl. yesterday (till I had a squib [someone else's reloads, not mine] stick in the barrel.) and .45 ACP today.

Our sportsman club has a handgun competition every year every Sunday in June. My son has competed for the last several years. Last year was my first year. That is how he and I spent our Father's day afternoon.

I did, but nothing special.

Headed out back and tested/chronographed some 357 Sig loads and ran a couple plate drills with my HK P2000, then went back to chores.

I did. Son came over and we went to range to shoot steel plates. Had a ball then came home and grilled a couple of steaks. Great day.

My daughter and her husband came out. We grilled steaks and corn and then blasted targets with my mini 14 and .308. Her husband had never fired a gun before and he had a blast. Looks like we got another one in our ranks.
