Choate synthetic stock painting for gloss

The color and paint has been decided on.

BMW urban green

The paint is pretty cool it's a base with a two part clear coat but in a spray can!

British racing green was in contention too but one I saw the urban green I knew that was it.

I'm going to practice my splatter skills before I decide to add a light black splattered effect or just leave it all green.

As it is the buttpad, extensions cheek riser and serrated underside of the stock will all remain black.

Today is the day. The Spraymaxx paint arrived today and it's perfect weather to paint.

87 degrees a faint wisp of breeze

I could have painted it in the shop but lighting was poor and the instructions are pretty clear about respirators. So I opted to err on the side of maximum ventilation

The barrel probably won't ship for a couple more weeks unfortunately
