I would have been injured if I had not worn eye-pro. I have been hit by bras numerous times and took a rebounding bullet off the glasses once. None of those would have caused too much injury but learned it is definitely worth it to wear shooting glasses.

It's still the wrong question. An answer of "Never" to the question "Have you or someone you know experienced eye injury from not wearing eye wear?" would imply that a) I shoot without eye protection and b) Nobody I know has ever been injured doing it. This would reinforce the absurd idea that eye protection is unnecessary.

I have had a close call when casting bullets. I did have my safety glasses on and got some splatter that landed on the lenses.
I have had way more injuries and close calls casting than shooting.
Once I was casting with Crocs on and got spatter on my bare feet.
Another time I dumped an entire ladle of lead on my thumb. Got a permanent scar for that one.
But even then when I didn't wear all the protection I should have, I always wore eye protection. You only have two and they are very difficult (sometimes impossible) to repair.

I took a chunk of lead off a piece of steel to the forehead yesterday... missed my glasses by about an inch. I don't know if it would have been enough to do eye damage, but I don't want to find out.
It staggers me that there are people out there who don't wear anything.
Then again it is has been a long time since I've been on a public square range (there is a reason for that) and eye pro use is mandated by rule for shooters and spectators alike at any venue where I shoot these days.

Another recent incident that happened to me earlier this summer: The blade of an adjustable rear sight on a pistol broke apart and hit me pretty hard right in the glasses. I certainly would not have wanted to know what that would have felt like without them.
I'm not trying to call anyone names or anything, but if you are not smart enough to wear at least SOME form of glasses (strongly prefer wrap around impact rated) at all times when on/in a gun range area, you seriously need to re-evaluate the level of common sense that you are applying to your everyday life.

Yeah the poll itself doesn't seem to tell us a whole lot.
At minimum there needs to be a section of answers for people who don't wear eye protection and whose friends/family/shooting buddies don't wear eye protection, and a separate section of answers for those who do

Anyone that does not wear eye protection while on the range is asking for trouble.
I've had whole casings as well as a ruptured case fragment hit my glasses. I was standing beside a buddy when an out of battery detonation occurred with a shotgun and believe me we were both happy our eye pro was in place. You don't have two eyes just so one's a spare! Always wear'm!
I've had close calls. They were close calls only because I was wearing eye protection. If I hadn't been wearing eye protection, they would have been injuries.
Too bad the poll didn't allow more than one answer.
I know a person who is blind in one eye as the result of a shooting accident.
I have had a pair of shooting glasses damaged when an ejected .45ACP case came straight back and the mouth of the case cut a crescent shaped mark on the lens directly over my right eye.
Years ago, I had a minor eye injury as a result of working with ammunition while not wearing safety glasses.
Years ago, I had a small part bounce off a hard contact lens while I was working on a gun.
I've had gun cleaning products/solvents splash into my eyes during gun cleaning activities--also years ago.
I've been hit by jacket fragments while shooting steel targets and while observing others shoot steel targets.
Wear eye protection while shooting, while watching others shoot and while working on/cleaning guns. You only get one set of eyes.

I've known a handful of folks that had a glass eye, I wouldn't have known if they didn't mention it, and I'm not in the habit of asking folks how they lost body parts.
My uncle's (then) father in law took his glass eye out in front of my (then) stepson, who was five at the time. Laughing hysterically is counter-productive when trying to calm a child down.
