That is one amazing video. Is there a general lack of natural predators for those rabbits? How are those 243 rifles doing as far as barrel wear? I have been told that 243 barrels wear out quick. I use mine for deer hunting but its a very low round count rifle- like 1 box of ammo annually, if that.

I am glad you enjoyed it. As far as predators, foxes, hawks and eagles would be the biggest issue for rabbits. The video was taken at the peak of rabbit population just before summer. The eagles and hawks are protected but we call in a dispatch majority of the foxes. I am yet to put a decent video together of us calling in foxes. That is on the to do list for this summer. Yes the .243 can be heavy on barrels but so far my has had about 2500rnds and still shoots 1/4 MOA with 87gr Vmax

Those are nice rigs you fellas are using, and great video too. The Pope really turns them inside out! Nice clean kills for the most part, and good shooting from your group.

That looks like loads of fun!

Cheers mate. Yes they do shoot well with some good handloads and plenty of practice but the wind still keeps us on our toes.

Sako rifle?

In the video there is a combinations of Sako and Tikka rifles with my 243 being a custom rifle I built up using a Sako L579 action.
